Entertaining mystery in a series set in Philadelphia at Christmas. Will definitely want to read more Amanda Pepper books.

Amanda Pepper teaches at Philly Prep a school for Philadelphia's filthy rich. With Christmas fast approaching, Miss Pepper's spoiled brats have given schioolwowrk the heave-ho.
But Amanda won't give up. The least she can do is teach the little dears something about the true spirit of Christmas. Amanda plans to have her students cook and sere a meal to the homeless. The project is creative, modest and meaningful...until Alexander Clausen takes over. One of the most powerful parents in the school, the man is too rich for poor Amanda to disagree with. The simple meal turns into a catered gourmet feast for sixty-five homeless citizens, numerous Clausen family members and friends--and one festive murderer.
So Amanda's holiday plans are set. Helped by C.K. Mackenzie--a cop who sometimes doubles as her boyfriend-she's determined to solve the crime and teach the elusive killer a lesson or two.

This was the second book I read in the series. I'm not sure if I'll read any more. It just didn't hold my interest.
