Includes e-mail directories and more than 170 maps. Lots of photographs, too. This book is so full of information, you will feel like you are at home when you arrive to the Philippines. There are over 7000 islands in this beautiful archipeligo, and provides insights into the best snorkel or scuba diving to be found. It has a guide to eateries, traditions, customs, and habits of these gentle people. This book is separated into islands or island combinations. There are campground locations, luxury hotel accomodations down to the most humble of abodes for the traveler. Several color pitctures, and history of the freedom won after WWll with the help of Americans. Museums abound, centuries old buildings and landmarks, the open market with daily fish as produce to select from. Beaches everywhere.
