I enjoyed these poems--had never read Maya Angelou before--but friend commented on facebook that she was reading Phenomenal Woman on her status line--so I went for it.
Phenomenal Woman is the kind of poem that reads itself. It makes me proud to be a woman. We posted it in the girls' bathroom of our high school when I was growing up because everyone should have that kind of inspiration on a daily basis.
