I did have to scroll through a few pages because the thoughts in Maddy's head were driving me crazy. Maddy had issues because her parents treated her like she didn't exist and a previous lover used her and lied to her. Aleksei was our Russian hero who was rich and handsome who had lost his wife who he had loved more than life itself. So we have two broken people, good sex but not much else. This story was weak, and boring with little conflict to carry it.
