This is the fifth in the "Faith on the Line" series, put out by Harlequin's Inspirational Romance division, Love Inspired. It is classified as Inspirational Romantic Suspense. I am part of a book club and the series got delivered to me, and although I'm not really into the IR Suspense genre, I found these to be very interesting. Book Five, Peter's Return, tells the story of Peter Vance, a CIA agent who is deep undercover to investigate the Venezuelan drug cartel, La Mano Oscuro. His ex and doctor, Emily, is being held hostage by the leader of the cartel, to treat his dying son. Peter attempts to arrange an escape for her, but she won't leave the dying boy. Danger ensues, and romance. I don't want to give away too much of the plot, so I'll leave it at that, and say that I think those of you looking for romantic suspense with a Christian twist will like these books.
