After reading Bonansinga's previous two novels I didn't think his books could be any better. I still have "Frozen" to read, which is the first of a series. This last book, Perfect Victim, proved me wrong. It is a roller coaster ride all the way through. Ullysses Grove goes up agains pure evil in the form of John Q. Public a vicious killer. Both enter the cave, but who will come out???? See for yourself.

I looked back and saw that I had liked (3 stars) a couple in this series but this one I couldn't stick with, I thought it was just slow, oh there was something going on in each chapter but I didn't like Drinkwater (stupid name)and I thought the premise of the story was getting off base, if you're going to make it a supernatural story then introduce it better and get on with it, but instead it seems like this one just started dragging and that will lose my interest fast
