Corrine spends her life making decisions and taking charge. However, in the meantime, her love-life has been less than fufilling. The night before she is scheduled to meet up with her new crew to prepare for a launch, she finds herself waiting out a storm in a hotel bar. Prepared to have a warm drink and then get a room and retire for the night, she is stunned to find herself flirting with a very sexy stranger on the next stool. When a sudden power outage, a shortage of rooms leads to a very sexy proposition from her sexy stranger, Corrine tosses her usual control to the wind and spends a fantasy night with a fantasy man.
Mike enjoyed every moment of being her fantasy man, but is slighty disappointed to wake alone the next morning, a few hours later, he discovers the woman that rocked his world is in fact, his commanding officer.
Corrine and Mike know they have to put their night of passion behind them and forget it ever happened, but how can they when at every turn, the fire flares again. Not to mention an impending space trip that will place them in close confines for an extended period of time.
I would recommend this book to those who like the hero and heroine that battle their chemistry, give in and battle it again. The book is fairly even paced and a fun light read with a few sexy, well written scenes
