This book is about mental illness disorder DID (multi-personality disorder)
I'm not a fan of that topic but I tried to get through 100 pages--barely--it just didn't grab my attention enough to proceed and I hate! absolutely HATE anything written in italics!
The italics pages are going into the past of how they found Penny alone in a park yada yada yada and ended up adopting her
The story just drags along and repeats over and over and it got tiresome after 100 pages with progress of the main story (and of course you have to throw in the side stories--boring)

However I feel about this book I don't discourage anyone reading it if you want to get into mental illness aspect of it but it just wasn't for me-hence the very low rating
