Good story, interesting characters, and a twist ending that you don't see coming. There are three different timelines going on in the book, and while I an see why the author wrote it this way (and she does put the timeline date at the beginning of the "block" of chapters for that timeline), I found it pretty confusing at first.
This was a real cliff hanger! Everyone had a motive, and nobody had an alibi :) Yes, there was a murder to be solved throughout the book. I love how she told the story like she was an observer. I have read most of her other books, and can't remember whether this is usual for her. I love the tales of Nantucket she writes about, and one of these days I will actually get there! So much family drama going on! Nobody is who they seem to be from the outside. A lot of fun, and hard to put down!
If you want to read about cardboard people that live in a perfect world this might be for you

Beach read but more than just romance and female friendships. Some suspense and possible murder thrown in and very well done. I kept thinking I had figured out the whodunnit, but didn't until the very end.
I have read every one of Elin's Nantucket books and loved each one!!
This one goes to the top of the list - really great story lines, lots of surprises, and even a murder mystery!!

I enjoyed this book very much. I couldn't put this book down and was surprised by the ending. It's about a wedding on Nantucket that has many surprises. It's a must read book!
