I never would have guessed that the Baudelaire's would have to assist the villains with their evil plans, but that is indeed the case in this next-to-last installment of 'A Series of Unfortunate Events.' Alas, I will have to read the last book to find out if the Baudelaire's will ever escape the clutches of Count Olaf and his evil plans! I really like these book! They're very original, a bit redundant, but good nonetheless. I highly recommend them!

A slower read than most in the series (but the second half is a page turner). Ending cliffhanger makes reading the final volume a necessity. Recommended!!

I loved all of the books in this series. Much much better than the movies.
