Creepy story! Pearl is the name of a pig with unique abilities. He lost an eye as a piglet. He has an unnerving presence and is the King of the pigpen from a young age. The farmer takes an unusual interest in Pearl, going so far as to teach him words and concepts. The result is terrifying.
