Beautifully written sequel to "Chocolat" and "The Girl With No Shadow." Wonderful, complex characters with a bit of magic thrown in. I could not put it down.
Definitely read the first two books first and maybe even "Blackberry Wine" since Jay is mentioned in this book.

A sequel to Chocolat, this book offers a satisfying update on Vianne, the chocolatier, and her two girls Anouk and Rosette. Roux remains in Paris while Vianne returns to the little town of Lansquenet after receiving a letter from her past. Some things (and people) have changed in the last eight years, but can a small town grow from closed minded to welcoming in that time?
