Lori Copeland's book, The Peacemaker was a great start to a brand new series! It is funny and light-hearted and reminds me of the style of other author: Linda Windsor.

As soon as Wynne and Cass me the two dislike each other. Cass sees her as a bumbling fool as Wynne trips over everything and walk around with what she thinks is a fashinable "bird's nest" hat! Wynne thinks Cass is stubborn and rude and has sworn off all guys. Throughout the book and all the bumbling adventure, will Wynne and Cass finally come to be friends and maybe more?

Great book, very funny-I found myself laughing outloud at certain parts! I read it in one day, couldn't put it down, I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

I love Lori Copeland's western books. Wynne is set on revenge for being left at the altar as well as being "robbed" of her money in her fiance's business deal. Cole just wants to get home after 4 years in the war. If he ever settles down, it will be with a spirited woman.

He doesn't take kindly to his younger brother wanting to help this woman in distress. But they end up taking her home anyway. When Cole finds out her intentions toward his baby brother who has yet to make it home following the war, he follows her when she leaves to find him. One disaster after another keeps putting them together, and before long, Cole begins to see Wynne in a different light.

Wynne realizes that God probably isn't pleased with her plan to kill, nor is He pleased when she steals or lies. Lots of humor included in this story as well as brief mentions of a few historical people and events.

Funny western style with an inspirational twist. Wynne Elliott swears revenge on the man who left her at the altar in Georgia and travels to Missouri to carry out her plans and runs into the errant groom's brother just home from the Civil War tired, hungry and looking for peace and serenity. He finds everything but peace as he tangles with the irate Wynne Elliot. Very enjoyable.
