Very interesting conception of following the clues and profiling a case, takes a turn about midway that is not expected and kind of threw me for a loop but well written.

This is book #1 in what apparently will be a series. It is good little mystery. Readers who like to have strange little twists will definitely enjoy this book.

Dr. Pat Bowers is a character who is smart but who has his foibles and fears as we all do.

This book kept my interest from page 1. Full of action, keeps one guessing. I particularly liked it because it is a well-written book with no foul language and no graphic sexual situations. Thank you for that!

I loved that the book took enough twists and turns that it kept me guessing and I wasn't able to figure out right away who was the "bad guy". There were a couple of things that I found unbelieveable but just overlooked. On the whole I found the book very good and am going to read The Rook which is the next book in this series but not a continuation of this book.

Wow, this may be the best book I've read of it's kind. The interwoven plots were enough to have you biting your nails off, but never left you confused. Every single character was brought to life and jumped off the page...I literally LOST sleep over this book!!!! I'm so tempted to go right to Book #2!! I LOVE Patrick Bowers and I also like how James included some of his personal history, which makes him even more likeable! I can't say enough about this book!!!! If you have the NOOK, it's currently FREE!
