I have enjoyed this series very much - Jack Cavanaugh has done an excellent job with the historical parts of the series.
I have enjoyed all three of the American Family Portrait books and look forward to #4 arriving next week. I have learned so much history in them that I frankly didn't learn in 16+ years of education.

This series has a lot of history and a great story line. I like the way the author at the end goes over what is true and what is ficton. Excellent series.
