My first Ben Elton; a little disappointing considering all the hype he generates with his hilarious screenwriting, but then perhaps 'Past Mortem' was not the best pick to begin with? Apart from just being a little boring, 'Past Mortem' is an all out quick read with some refreshing characterization: a great murder mystery to take with you to the beach - if that's the kind of thing you do.
