This book is a great continuation of the story about these two characters. It was hard for me to put it down.

The Bujold series, "The Sharing Knife", is rich with visual images and descriptions that keep me enthralled, every time that I read them. "Passage" is perhaps my favorite, with the changing landscapes and settings, along the broad rivers. One feels she is right beside Dag, Fawn, Whit and Berry as they traverse physical, emotional, and Lakewalker challenges in their travels. A lovely read.
While I didn't like it as much as the Vorkosigan books or World of the Five Gods, it's still pretty good reading. You can see my review of the series on the PBS Blog for February 2023.
Another absolutely charming book by Lois mcMaster Bjuold. Her characters are likable and her descriptions of their lives are well crafted, along with a great adventure. I am sorry, folks, I am not posting this book. It is a keeper, as is the whole series.
