Ava and Tobias had been high school sweethearts all through high school. Right after graduation, Tobias proposed to her. Ava turned him down saying she was taking a job in New York and wasn't ready to settle down. Years later they run into each other when she is in town visiting her father. They hook up for a one-night stand. Six weeks later, Ava is standing on Tobias' front porch, telling him that she is pregnant. Now the two of them must decide how they are going to co-parent a child.
This is the third and last story in the Holiday Brothers trilogy. I wanted to like the story, but I had a hard time with Ava and her general attitude toward Tobias. She had a new job lined up in London and was determined that she and the baby would live there, while he could visit when he had a chance. Tobias didn't like this idea, but Ava would cut him off when he voiced his opinion. Then she would think "why hasn't he asked me to stay?" This drove me crazy. Why doesn't she just ask him if he wants her to stay? I think she wanted him to beg her. My rating: 2 Stars.
