I did not like this book as well as the previous one she has written. This one was too silly to be taken seriously.

I love these mysteries with recipe books, they satisfy two of my quests-a good book and a good meal, now where is the rich guy who wants a platonic relationship? After all, I am married!

Very good - couldn't put it down. Even skipped out of Sunday School to finish the last couple chapters - Magdalena's mother would "turn over in her grave"!

Got some chuckles from this Magdalena Yoder mystery. Although be forewarned, once you've read a few of these, they all begin to sound alike.

Hollywood comes to Amish country when a film crew goes on location at Magdalena Yodor's quaint PennDutch Inn. But after the excitement of an "open casting" has even the staid Amish battling for bit parts, the filming hits a snag-a body in Magdalena's barn impaled to a post with a pitchfork.

Excellent book - #2 in the series. I can't wait to read them all. They are a wonderful diversion from the norm.

Tamar Myers' Pennsylvania Dutch series about Magdalena Yoder and her Amish friends (and enemies!) is always a hoot. This one is no exception. Very funny, very light, very fast read. Loved it.

I like this series very much, funny and at times hilarious. Characters are different and kooky.

Another Magdalena Yoder story that I enjoyed. I just love all the humor in these books and the witty sarcasm. This was a fun one with the Hollywood crowd at the Inn.

My paperback has a few cover creases, if this bothers you please do not ask it to be mailed.
