I am not sure how I came across this book but was excited when I saw it. Loved the cover art and the book's theme sounded fun and exciting. Unfortunately, for me, that is about as far as it went. The book was so amateurishly written that it was hard to bond with the story or the characters. It seemed like something someone wrote back in junior high. I think the author had a great idea here but did not execute it well. Hopefully his writing will improve as he goes. As for me, I gave up with only 50 left to go. I just didn't care anymore.
