This is probably the best Ridley Pearson book I have read so far. It moves fast with no lull in the story. It kept me reading until I had finished the book.

This is a story about a man who feels the railroad killed his family due to negligent maintenance of the crossing guards. He sets about to ruin the railroad. His plan is cunning and the results are catastrophic. The ending is most satisfying. Great story. I loved it.

Novel, series of train derailments sets ex-cop Peter Tyler looking to jumpstart his career after being suspended from the force. Seattle Times says "the book tears along like a runaway train".

A suspected terrorist is seeking revenge for the death of his family. The hero is a unjustly fallen, ex-cop and the crime is a homicide involving a major railroad line. This is a cat-and mouse story with a little romance thrown in on the side. The premise is all too plausible today and the criminal accounting by corporate executives make it a very timely story! Good "inside" information about trains.

In Parallel Lies, a series of train derailments sets ex-cop Peter Tyler looking to jump-start his career after being suspended from the force. Umberto Alvarez, a suspected terrorist, blames the railroad company for the crossing guard collision that killed his wife and children two years earlier, believing that his family is the victim of a massive cover-up. But what is the truth, and what are lies? Packed with action and full of heart-stopping suspense, Parallel Lies confirms that Pearson is "the best thriller writer on the planet" (Booklist).

This book was a non-stop thriller! I hated to put it down. Ridley Pearson really knows how to construct a story. He really keeps you riveted & wanting more. Who really is the bad guy? It may not be who you think! I loved this book!

A parallel story of two men's lives, one representing the law and the other a criminal, but the circumstances blurs which of the two are representing the good, and which may be bad. Suspenseful, well written, intriguing, and very hard to put down. I will look for more books by the author.
