Excellent historical by Lindsey. Wonderful characters and a great and unusual setting, although the plot device is certainly nothing new.

This is one of my favorite Lindsey book to date. About a guy (Jared) who is out to get revenge on Corinnes father. Once he gets what he wants he leaves Boston and goes back to Hawaii to carry on with life, but never forgets the woman he marries. Corinne seeks revenge on Jared for humiliating her after he left her in Boston, she heads to Hawaii. Great story, fast read, could barely put it down!

From back cover...

Wild and impetuous, Boston beauty Corinne Barrows has traveled halfway 'round the world to Hawaii to ruin Jared Burkett-the devilishly handsome cad who had taken her, despoiled her...and left her humiliated by her own awakened passions.

Paradise Wild
Corinne's hatred rages as fiercely as her desire for the scheming, sensuous rogue-igniteing a blistering war of wits and will in Paradise...and a love so wild, so reckless, it threatens to consume them both in flames of rapture.
