This is the first book I've read by this author, and I'll be going back for all the rest. Excellent mystery/suspense!! Hard to put down until you finish!

Really liked this book--has a lot of action but it's kind of like spies hunting spies within the spy ring, etc. but it is well written and just keeps you turning pages

I got caught up in the main characters life even though it's a bit improbable.

Evan Casher, is a twenty-something documentary film maker who's life begins to spiral out of control when he finds his mother brutally murdered and narrowly escapes the same fate. He realizes that everything he's ever known as truth about his parents is up for grabs. He tries to unravel the mysteries of mom's slaughter, find dad, and keep his new girlfriend satisfied.

The storyline was stretched just a bit too far for me. Evan's transformation from nerdy film boy to super-spy had me in fantasy land. Not always a bad place to be when reading a thriller. Evan magically matches wits and heavy weapons with steely-eyed operatives who are more comfortable handling Berettas than movie cameras. And, I'm not giving away the ending.

If you are familiar with Jeff Abbott through his Jordan Poteet books this thriller is a vast departure from those books. Think action movie with car chases, guns blazing, covert operations, etc.

O.K. a little too much spy stuff for my taste. I like Abbott's other books pretty good .

I loved this book. Loved the intrigue, the suspense, the action, and everything in between. Several twists and turns that kept me guessing what was going to happen next. This is my first Jeff Abbott book and I plan on looking for more of his. Excellent read.

This is easily the best suspense novel I have ever read. It was my first time reading anything by Abbott and now I like him just as well as Koontz. Anyone who likes mysteries or spy novels will love this one.

Good rainy day guilty pleasure. Not the best-written book but just enough intrigue to keep you going.

Not a bad one, not one of my favorites either. I'm rather ho-hum about it.

If you like suspense with a good bit of spy stuff, this is the book for you. Action starts on the first page.

This book is like a fast, fun, thrill-seeking adventure ride.

It has very little down-time in the action department. If you're looking for something sedate, this book isn't for you. But if you're looking for non-stop rollercoaster action, check this book out.

What if your Mom called in a panice to beg you to come to her immediately? What if she was brutally murdered when you arrived? What if the killers then tried to kill you only for you to be rescued at the last possible second by a stranger who seemed as deadly, if not more so, than the killers. Who are you and who were your parents - really??? Noe one is talking but there are a lot of people willing to send you right behind your Mother....

Not his best but it was a good book, kept you on your seat and had a few twist. All in all a good read.

Good book, not quite as the last one by Abbott but still intriguing and exciting.
