From Publishers Weekly
This racy romance tracks two women born the same night in 1933: dark, secretive Laura, an acclaimed fashion designer and photographer, and bold, deliciously evil redhead Tess, a corporate climber who makes it big in TV and in Washington. ``Gage is a consummate and stylish artist of the erotic scene,'' said PW. ``The novel glows with perceptive characterization.''

This book was so hard to put down , the plot is very hard to follow in the begging, but just hang in there it gets better. Gage is a wonderful story teller. The book has profanity and sex in it but not to bad. I would recomend this book to any one. You begin to live like your the characters, thinking what their next step will be, what will happen next. I began to actual think about the charcters even when I wasn't reading the book. So in conclusion it's a griping tale that you just can't put down.

Women, like money, were part of the Lancaster legacy. And Haydon Lancaster was heir to the throne, a man bred for the White House, born to succeed.
