This wordless picture book follows the trials of a little old lady who attempts to make pancakes for her breakfast. “The optimistic determination of the woman and the gentle humor of the illustrations make this an appealing book for the very young.”--School Library Journal

I ordered this book to use with my preschool/early elementary Deaf students. It is perfect for developing their storytelling skills, and for vocabulary development. (Most kids nowadays don't have a clue what a butter churn is!) The kids really like it, too.

Fun way to learn the process of making pancakes, from the start!

A "pictures only" book. Good for language development and also for having older children write their own story to accompany the pictures.
