Enjoyed all of the books by Kate Kingsbury. An article I read compared her to Agatha Christie, so I was curious and started to read her books. They are great mysteries that take place in a little quaint English town. Nice to read a "clean" book for a chance.

Watching the relationship between Lady Elizabeth and Major Earl grow is probably my favorite part of this series. That, and the tidbits about wartime England. A delightful book!

Love this series....characters are wonderful and the development of the relationship between Lady Elizabeth and American airman Major Earl Monroe is excruciating.....WW II is in full swing and there are rumors of a German spy in the village of Sitting Marsh....then one of Lady Elizabeth's tenants is found dead, and nobody has any answers as to the investigation into his death, so naturally Her Ladyship is compelled to seek the answers herself.....
Another good one by Kingsbury. This one wasn't as captivating as some of the others, but it was still a good read. There are only a few more books in the series and I really hate to see it come to an end because I love the setting and the main characters.
#5 in a delightful series. If you like this series be sure and watch the BBC TV show Monarch of the Glen.
Fun series of WW II village life in England-endearing characters
This is the fifth book in the "Manor House" mysteries. Kate Kingsbury is a great mystery writer and has other series as well.
This is the best book in the series so far. Characters have finally begun to develop and the plot concerns World War II, which is when the action takes place. This is the 5th in the series.
Good book
Another good Manor House Mystery
I've realized that I'm not a huge fan of this series, and had gotten several of them via BookCrossing Bookboxes. Thus, I'm offering this here to hopefully find it a more appreciative audience!
