Although the thought of this story line is disturbing as a mother of both a teenage boy and a teenage girl its amazing how reality sets in.. I thought this was an exceptional book but I am also very partial to all Jodi Picoults books. It definatly brought tears to my eyes and made me start to see things about teens in some ways a different perspective! Sometimes its hard to read a story that sits so true.

This is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. A friend lent me the book a few years ago. I say 'lent' but, really, a more accurate description might be that she forced it into my hands and ordered me to read at least the first three chapters under pain of death. I broke down and gave it a shot ... and absolutely fell in love. A suicide pact gone wrong and only one side of the he said she said story available. I didn't end up being a hardcore Jodi Picoult fan but this book seriously changed my opinion of 'Chick Lit'. The characters and the ending are well written and ring true.

There are a few predicable scenes, but still enough twists and turns to keep the reader interested. A good read for someone who is curious about how lives that seem so perfect can change so fast.

I was very ambivalent about this book. At one point early on, I wasn't even sure I was going to finish it. I thought it disturbing. I didn't think it was well-developed. And I especially didn't like the ending. There were too many loose ends. Not one of Picoult's best.
Typical Picoult. Drags at times, the conclusion rather predictable. That being said, a good summer read.
This was a very good book. It was a easy read! The story line was a little to deep for me!
I'm a big fan of this author, but this one moved a little slower than previous ones I have read. It had a few shockers and was a fast read.
Another fabulous novel by Jodi Picoult. I could not put this one down. Full of suspense, and some interesting twists and turns in the plot. It's typical Jodi Picoult. If you love her writing, you'll love this one.
This is the second book that I have read by this author. She has a way of keeping you reading, wanting to know the ending. It is easy to read, but deep and thoughtful as well. I really enjoyed this book.
