My son was a bit over 2.5 years when I bought the book. We read it twice and he started telling me that "Lalas" are not forever and he threw his binkie in the garbage.
In the evening I told him that the garbage trucks had taken his Lala, gave it a good scrub and left it with a baby that needed one. He liked and believed this story.

Love the book. My daughter still has no interest in giving up her paci but she does love reading the book - she just turned 2. We also have Hands Are Not For Hitting and Teeth Are Not For Biting so I knew this one would be good as well.
