This book covers parallel universes, time travel, journey through a black hole and superspace to name a (very) few. But he puts it in terms that are relatively (no pun intended) easy to understand, using metaphors/analogies which help to clarify such things as quantum physics for instance.
This book is a must for those who love ready hard science fiction and are interested in finding out how that may actually work.
