I felt as if I was dropped into a soap opera reading this novel. There is too much repetition of the main character's thinking and I found the story trite and more repetitive of a Hallmark Channel romance movie. I like a lot more depth to a story and one in which I learn something I didn't know before. I will not be reading any other of this author's work.

Excellent look at the issue of addictions and abuse. Well written and not preachy.
Very satisfying women's fiction. Good characters, story line and ending.
