great story written by a nature writer who loves animals.
son enjoyed it.
Despite what the book says, the spotted owl was not the cause of loggers losing their jobs, automation had already done that to the logging industry, the spotted owl ruling was a convenient scapegoat for the logging corporations to lay off workers.
Excellent chapter book about taking care of an owl.
Wonderful story with great illustrations.
