Passing this sweet story of 2 unlikely friends on to my nephew. Terrific examples for overcoming differences .
My daughter loves books about animals who becomes friends, and this one fits the bill perfectly. It was recommended to me by a Media Center Specialist, and we were definitely not disappointed. Also, as an adult, it was fun to read aloud, which I can't say for all kids' books, unfortunately. Well worth 5 stars!
