This is an overwrought time travel romance. The unbelievability of the time travel isn't the main problem. (I loved The Time Traveler's Wife.) In OVERSEAS, the dialogue is redundant and over-the-top (darling!). It would have been better served with an editor who questioned the book's length and the roles of minor characters.
