As I first began reading this book, something told me I wasn't going to like it. Perhaps it was the protagonist or the story line, I don't remember. About 50 pages in I thought about tossing it, but hung on. At about 100 pages I had changed my mine and was enjoying it.
I then checked to see if there was a sequel, and, as it turned out, I already had it. Then I checked the author out and wasn't really surprised to see it was the same guy who wrote the Orphanage series, a series I devoured last year. Now I also have the third book on my WL and I hope Mr. Buettner is busy writing more sci-fi.
