Deer, rats, cats--the usual suspects but also sea lions, woodpeckers, crows.
I read about pigeons and found it interesting as their background origins are explained, anecdotes shared, and ways to get them to relocate discussed. In LA, circa 1980? they tried to place a few hawks on the new tall buildings that were going up but they proved too territorial so it wasn't possible to make a dent in the pigeon population. The author doesn't hate 'critters' but doesn't want them residing over his front door. One must put effort into fending them off and often change tactics. Closing off 'burrows' is very helpful.
