Better than expected, with a well done, realistic setting, but the cover is really misleading. The hero is blond, and the heroine is Native American. He takes refuge on a tribal reservation after an attempted murder. Believable, down-to-earth characters, I liked them a lot. Apparently this is part of a series, because there are some loose ends left in the mystery.
