This is a touching story of a good "bad" guy who we all want to love. It's a good story told well. I also love that the leading lady has some realistic backbone. I really enjoyed it.

Angela stumbles upon a daring evening bank robbery. The infamous Lee Raven grabs her and takes her with the outlaws, fearing that she can identify him. Lo and behold. it turns out that the heroine is blind.
Angela is blind but not helpless. She has learned to use her other senses to compensate for her lack of sight. She is engaging and brave.
By the end of the story, you realize that the only way this plot would work was if she didn't recognize Lee Raven.
I gave this book only 3 stars because the story line is so common. The dialogue and characters were winsome but the outcome was too pat and convenient. I must admit that the tale was interesting and a quick read.
Given a choice. I would rather have spent my time on two other of Lorraine Heath's books: ALWAYS TO REMEMBER and PARTING GIFTS.
