I really enjoyed this fast paced romantic suspense/comedy of errors. Kylie runs the family shoe store and dreams of traveling to Asia. Her brother, meanwhile, actually does travel the world; her mom and grandma are out of town on a cruise; her best friend is having family problems. Kylie goes a little crazy on her birthday and vows to "shake things up" in her quaint small town. This leads to several run ins with her teen crush who is now the town police chief. Hijinks (including the mob) and rescues ensue with a delightful happy ending. Strong secondary characters and imperfect leads make this one for my keeper shelf.
Fun romp thru Eden, Indiana. The heroine is quirky and sassy and her love interest oh so sexy! The engaging characters are easy to like in a charming little town that eventually has the mafia showing up and causing all kinds of fireworks. I found myself continuously trying to guess what Kylie was going to do next. It is a light read but very enjoyable. Definitely recommend.
This was cute... I don't think that Jack was quite as sexy as Ciotta's Arch character from her Evie series, but it was still a cute read. I'm actually quite interested to read Kylie's brother's story, which is coming up next in "Into The Wild".
