This is such a brilliant book! It should be required reading, really. I've always eaten organic, but when people would ask me why, I'd just mumble something about it being better for you and, in general, the environment. I didn't have any specific or scientific reasons. Well, this book pretty much gave me all the reasons for choosing organic. This book doesn't just look at our health, and the health of our soil/environment. It also looks at how we can feed people - globally - while farming organically. Further, it dispels a lot of myths that surround chemical farming versus organic farming. Lastly, it explains - quite well - government subsidies, why organic produce is more expensive, and what we can do about it.

Also, the book is well written. So, 5 stars all around. I'd give it more stars if I could!
