This book is something you can put in your purse or briefcase in case you get stuck waiting in the doctor's office, or on a bus, train whatever. Whether or not the data is true, it is so funny and trashy to read the stories about Oprah, who must have the patience of a saint to put up with this stuff. Of course, her salary helps. Trashy, funny, good time-killer.

How did Oprah go from dirt-poor Mississipi farm girl to become a celebrity? The real story w/several pp's pics.

This is a biography of Oprah's life, not written by Oprah. It was interesting.

Old book. But I like Oprah.

Totally inspirational. The best thing I got out of the book was that Oprah got where she was today by trusting her gut instincts. Even if someone told her she was wrong or dissed her ideas she stuck with her guns. Helped me quite a bit.
