I can only offer this -- the more I read, the more I wish I hadn't selected this book. This is not typical for Baldacci -- it reminded me of a Lifetime made for TV movie. If you want to read something absolutely unbelievable and sugar sweet, this is it.

Quite a leap for the author from his usual style, but he did it very well. Starting out as a sad situation, a very dramatic turn of events led the reader in a totally unexpected direction. Typical family conflict and another dramatic turn kept this reader "sitting in my car unable to stop listening" until the end. A well written story proving that there is another side of David Baldacci.

I really enjoyed this audio book. It had some twists and turns I wasn't expecting. I found myself looking forward to the time when I could listen to it more and for longer periods of time. This was my first David Baldacci book, and it won't be my last.

I LOVED this book! It made me rethink how I would spend my last days on earth and what I wanted to leave behind. Sometimes, life is sweet but is so because of the bitter events one lives through.
