Not for the squeamish. It goes into great detail about the character of a sniper. This book is the definitive report on the history of snipers around the world. Youll want to cheer at the successes and mourn the failures. Its a hard book to put down. A great read.

I loved this book, so if you like the military non-fiction genre you probably will too. Contains many personal accounts from snipers from the 40s on. From the back: In WWII, Korea, Vietnam and Beirut, American snipers honed the vital art of delivering a single accurate shot from nowhere - and devastating enemy morale...This book is their powerful personal record, of desperate trials and proud feats.

Stories, told by the men themselves, of snipers in America's armed conflicts. Special men who perform a special duty, requiring extraordinary patience, skill, and self-sacrifice.
