EXCELLENT!!!

Can't think of another word to describe it. Carter has passed Patterson's Alex Cross with the detective Robert Hunter, from book one of the series each and every one is a sure thriller that just keeps you up until you're finished if you have the time to do that, will be looking forward to the next one to see what the next step will be for Garcia(Hunter's partner)--curious????

In my opinion, Chris Carter is one of the best authors ever. His books are all awesome and this book is no exception. It is riviting and I could hardly put it down. If you are squimish or do not like dark events, this is not the book for you.
Five stars for this book. I highly recommend.

I can always depend on the author coming up with new and inventive serial killers. Detective Robert Hunter has an almost psychic ability to read crime scenes. This time around is no different.

Detective Hunter gets a call at work and the voice at the other end tells him to go to pickadeath.com. What he and his partner watch is the brutal killing of a man... with a twist. Detective Hunter is told to pick how the man dies ... by fire or by drowning.

Unfortunately, this will not be his only victim. Thus begins Hunter's chase to stop the madman. You watch ... you vote ... they die.

Excellent book! The author has a devious mind which is so apparent in his books. Each one gets better and better.

Detective Robert Hunter of the LAPD's Homicide Special Section receives an anonymous call asking him to go to a specific web address - a private broadcast. Hunter logs on and a show devised for his eyes only immediately begins. But the caller doesn't want Detective Hunter to just watch, he wants him to participate, and refusal is simply not an option.

Chris Carter has done it again. Scared the daylight out of me! If you do not like horror or graphic gore, this is not a book for you. Just when you think Carter has gone beyond horrible, he has proved once again that he is unpredictable. He seems to have scared Hunter's partner, Garcia, also. I now need to read the next book in order to find out if Garcia will be back for more. I doubt it as Garcia is a family man and needs to make sure his wife, Anna, is protected from his job of horrors. I would highly recommend this series to those who love horror but I will have to leave a warning on this book. BEWARE!
