Garwood is always great read.
Short and sweet romance.
This is one of my most favorite series about the Clayborne family. A family brought together out of need. All the Clayborne books are just charming and enjoyable and clean enough for even the begging romancer.
This was a good romance. I always enjoy her books.
The first follow-up stories of the Claybornes after For The Roses. This tells the story of Travis Clayborne, the youngest of the Clayborne brothers. Love this series.
A lively, stirring story of the Old West.

Travis Clayborne, the youngest of the brothers, has been asked by their mama, Mama Rose, to escort a young lady to her betrothed in another town. Miss Emily Finnegan had been jilted at the alter and decided to leave Boston and marry a man she had only corresponded with by mail. A mail order bride was not something Travis wished for Emily as he becomes rather attached to her on their trip to her Mr. O'Toole. After she falls in love with her escort and keeps her feelings secret from him, as he is "not the marrying kind", she tells a friend she has met along the way that she cannot marry Mr. O'Toole now but she must tell him in person. She keeps this decision to herself as she knows if she tells Travis he will not take her the rest of the way. Mr. O'Toole turns out to be more than she bargained for and a shooting match incurs. Emily refuses to say goodbye to Travis and plans on heading back to Boston on the stagecoach. Will he catch up with her in time?

A good book.
The first novel in the Clayborne Brides series. The youngest Clayborne, Travis, escorts Boston born, Emily Finnegan to Montana to meet her future husband. She is to find what awaits her as a mail order bride. When the future husband turns out to be not such a great choice, she stays at the Clayborne ranch and finds that her destiny may not be what she thought. I loved it and the rest of the Clayborne Bride series. Well written.
Great story and ending.

Excellent story, great series, Garwood is always good, and very enjoyable. Loved this series.
If you loved Julie Garwood's For The Roses about the Clayborne's you will love this book also. This is the story of Travis Clayborne.
Very sweet romance. It's worth reading.
Travis Clayborne may be the youngest of the Clayborne brothers, but he's most definitely his own man. Unless it means saying no to his beloved Mama Rose. And that's why Travis is escorting young Bostonian Emily Finnegan to Golden Crest, Montana - where she'll discover what awaits her as a mail-order bride. Emily has made it perfectly clear that she's taken charge of her destiny and nothing is going to interfere. Falling in love with the perfect stranger isn't part of her plan, but the journey with Travis across this beautiful, rugged land opens her eyes...and her heart. Perhaps her destiny isn't exactly as she imagined.
One of the Clayborne "brothers" of Blue Bell, Montana, Douglas went to pick up an Arabian stallion and ended up delivering the owner's baby. A good read.

One great story and it makes you wish for your own kind of cowboy!!
Travis Clayborne is taking Bostonian Emily Finnegan to Golden Crest, Montana to meet her fiance' -- as a mail-order bride. Travis keeps warning Emily not to marry a stranger. However, Emily says that she has had letters from her intended and that he is a wealthy landowner.
The dialogue between the two main characters is delightful and witty. This is a light-hearted story with lots of humor.
