I love books about foster parents and adoption. Combine this with a western setting and I'm enthralled. This books has both, so I really enjoyed it. This foster dad is "parenting" an ethnic mix of troubled boys on his ranch and getting flak from the local community, especially the local judge, a beautiful woman! You can guess the rest.

Cathy Gillen Thacker's story is one of the Western Lovers--Ranchin' Dads series. Mike Harrigan, a wealthy Texas rancher intent on giving foster sons a chance, goes toe to toe with Judge Diana Tomlinson, who's intent on preserving the safety of her small-town community. They both find love, more than enough for their sons and town.
