Total chic lit. Did I spell that right? Hope so. I had so much fun reading this book. Look I've never had a husband cheat on me 'cause I've never been married. I did it ass backwards. I have two children. No husband. But if it had to happen man I wish I had this chick's wicked sense of humor. It takes some serious guts to send out the quarterly newsletter to your husband's clients, his parents, and all of your friends, and describe in detail the fact that your husband has been cheating on your with his secretary.

And then to decide to hide out while things calm down. Only to meet Monroe. The Hugh Jackman lookalike. Do guys like Monroe really exist? I pray to God they do and that some of you dear readers have your own Monroe. Really. I do. Every woman deserves a Monroe. Including me. Especially me. LOL!

There was not a page of this book that wasn't entertaining. Or a character. You need to get this one.

I am always nervous when one of my favorite authors puts something out in a new genre. No need to be nervous here. This effort was just as good as Harpers Jane Jameson series without the fangs. Complete with a sassy heroine, an unlikely hero, and plenty of witty banter, And One Last Thing does not disappoint. Laugh out loud funny in spots, I was reminded again and again why I like this author so very much.

What a way to spend an afternoon reading! Lacey discovers her husband is cheating after she mistakenly receives flowers intended for his mistress. Lacey sends a wonderfully worded newsletter out to his entire email address book. When faced with a law suit, Lacey goes to a cabin from her youth that creates a sense of safety for her. Her unfriendly neighbor, Monroe, becomes a sounding board for her and much more. Loved it! 4.5 stars

This book--the story and the characters--were just so much fun! It was great to escape into Lacey's world for a bit each day. The writing reminded me of Sophie Kinsella's style.

This was a fun and easy read. It moved along and was never boring. Many times I laughed out loud.

It's not as funny as her other stuff but still pretty good. And the mass email outing her husband and bimbo secretary made the vigilante part of me feel so good.

The story is mostly about Lacey coming to terms with being betrayed by her dull husband and moving on. Your typical divorcee story but with lots more antics and humor not just by Lacey but by almost everyone.

Fun, fun, fun!!!! Great if you are in the mood for something silly.
