The 5th book in the Chintz & China series and, in my opinion, the best one so far. This one takes place in the 2 weeks prior to Emerald's wedding. At time which should be full of joy, but instead is filled with danger and chaos. The otherworldly/paranormal events were not overblown as in some of the previous books, but focused more on psychic feelings and the sense of a nasty energy hovering around Murray. Very well done.

I'm honestly not sure why I liked this fifth book in the Chintz & China series as much as I did - I knew who the "bad guy" was before they were even mentioned, there wasn't a murder, it was chock full of character development driven by disaster followed by disaster after disaster. In short, everything was technically done completely wrong - and I still enjoyed it. The previous book in the series was stronger, but I'm looking forward to the next installment and don't feel a bit cheated.
Emerald O'Brien's wedding is as chaoic as the rest of her life. Her ex shows up at her engagement party and starts a brawl, a day later her fiance is shot and the ex becomes a suspect. And someone is stalking her maid of honor. Is her marriage cursed?
If I didn't have so many other books to read, I'd be even more disappointed that I've caught up with this series. I don't know if more are planned, since this was published several years ago and still has no sequel, but I hope the author revives it.
I thought that this was another wonderful story and I was glued to the pages. The author has definitely taken a place in my favorites list.

Great book, most sets that have more then two books to it kind of get redundent well this set dose not. It just gets better and better.
I really enjoyed this series. Ihate that Yasmine is not writing any more of this series.
