I usually love Koontz's books but this audio I just could not get into. I tried for the first three tapes and finally just gave up. Hopefully it will go to someone who will enjoy it.

Mr Koontz suffers from the same disease that Stephen King has - verbiositiosis. Boy, they sure do love wordiage. Must be something that afflicts middle-aged horror writers. Despite this ailment, Dean has hit a nerve in this long, rambling, Sci Fi book filled with wonderful characters and terrific dialogue. Thirteen cassettes and 22 hours after beginning to listen to this book, read beautifully by actress Anne Twomey,I was glad I had held on. Highly recommended.

This book was so fabulous. I love the way he turns words in your ears and makes them sound so delicious! This was the best Koontz book I've read so far. He spins this wonderful tale that keeps you on the edge of your seat and surprises you with twists and turns. There are many questions that will come to mind while reading. These questions are answered in the most profound way and at the most precise times! I loved this book!
