This series is exactly like the Evanovich series. The heroines are interchangable. If you like one, you will like the other.

Former nurse-turned-insurance fraud p.i. Pauline Sokol's current undercover investigation into a sleazy psychiatric scam has hit a small snag: she's been forcibly committed to a mental institution! She IS sane, but can't convince the nuns that run the place. Pauline's crime-solving cohort Jagger won't help her, so she delves into the place's secrets until she realizes she's in over her head. A death occurs, and Pauline realizes she needs Jagger and her family to help her escape.

This was a pure delightful mystery to read! Especially because theres a tad of humor in it (love it when I can chuckle with a book). The characters are all unique, strange in their own way and pull together to just make this a great read! This one was a bit more serious than the others in this series making it more of a mystery and not a cozy! GREAT READ!!!!
