This book is read by Mitch Albom and I did not like his voice at all. I wouldn't say that he has a lisp but he pronounces words like his tongue is too thick. The story was alright, but the main character is very difficult to like and I couldn't identify with his bad choices so I just wasn't interested in how he learns that he made wrong decisions. This wasn't my cup of tea.

best book ever. it was an experience i will definately repeat.
This is a sweet book, with a pleasant story. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Mitch Albom is a great storyteller, and effective narrator. This book made me wish for one more day with my own father, and at the same time, made me understand him just a bit better.
I've decided that Mitch Albom audiobooks are perfect car ride reads! I've read a few of Albom's work and this didn't disappoint. This one is shortish and I think that's just peachy. He has such amazing stories to tell, but they have to be just the right length and Albom knows how to do that.
Hard to believe it's fiction. His wording is realistic and masterfully genius at the same time. Weaving in emotions and patterns, you find yourself asking a question -- but Albom knows you're going to ask that and answers it, in time.
A great piece of work.

I thought this was a good book, easy to listen to.
